I just finished the story mode of Lego Batman Legacy Of The Dark Knight on Xbox Series X.
It’s safe to say that it is the best Lego game ever made.
And it’s also the best Batman game ever made. Not just Lego Batman, but Batman in general – including the famous Arkham series.
It’s family friendly, yes.
It has lighthearted humor, yes.
But there is also the specific darkness, atmosphere and hints of the tragedy that belong to the Batman universe.
It has fun and great game mechanics.
But the real star is the traversal in this game – grappling and flying and driving through rainy Gotham is an absolute blast.
Legacy Of The Dark Knight is a perfect game for all age groups.
No matter if you’re six or fifty-six like myself, it will put a smile on your face.
